Dhruv Shringi, Co-Founder, CEO & Director

Dhruv Shringi is the Co-Founder & CEO Yatra Online Pvt. Ltd. Dhruv leads the company's business initiatives across continents..

Dhruv in a very short span of time, by making innovations in the field of travel and tourism, has made his unique identity in the online travel industry. He has contributed actively in rejuvenating the methods of the industry. Since its successful launch in January 2006, Dhruv, has lead Yatra.com to grow from a 3 member organisation to a 1,400 people strong organisation - thus making Yatra.com the leading travel brand in the country. In 2011, Dhruv was listed by Fortune magazine amongst the top 40 CEO's in India and he also served as the Vice Chairman of the Internet and Mobile Association of India from April' 2011 to June' 2013.

His most recent role prior to Yatra.com was as Director Group Operations and Technology of the Ebookers Group in London, where he led a team of over 600 people and was responsible for sales of $850 million achieved through across channels including online, call centers and retail shops.

Prior to his stint at Ebookers, he worked with Ford Motor Company in their Business Strategy team based in London, where he was part of the European Business Turnaround team. He also has significant work experience in India having spent over 6 years with Arthur Andersen based in their office in Delhi. Dhruv holds an MBA from INSEAD and is also a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Murlidhara Lakshmikantha Kadaba, Non-Executive Director

Murlidhara Lakshmikantha Kadaba. Murlidhara Kadaba (Murli) is the CMD of Moonbeam Capital, a Proprietary VC Firm focused on luxury, UHNI, Real Estate and e-com Ventures. Murli has over 25 years of banking experience, with proven expertise in general management, marketing and product development across consumer banking, wealth management, consumer lending and payment products. Before becoming an entrepreneur, he served as the Group President and CEO of Financial Services in Reliance.

Prior to this, Mr. Kadaba worked for American Express for eight years where he was the country manager for India and area countries. He was responsible for launching Amex's Consumer banking franchise and several credit cards in India. Earlier, Mr. Kadaba was VP and Head of Investment Products at Citibank-India. Mr. Kadaba has served on the boards of Amcham and Financial Planning Standards Board. He is a member of the Advisory Board of Indian Institute of Learning Management (IILM), is an active member of YPO and a charter member of TIE. Amongt others, Mr. Kadaba is currently serving as a Board Member of Big Tree (bookmyshow.com), yatra.com and HomeShop18.

Murli is an alumnus of XLRI, Jamshedpur and is a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering from SJCE, Mysore. Mr. Kadaba is well qualified to serve as a director given the breadth and depth of his experience as well as his capital markets expertise.

Neelam Dhawan, Non-Executive Director

Ms. Neelam Dhawan has been an Additional Independent Director of ICICI Bank Ltd., since January 12, 2018. She also leads the IBM India Advisory board. Ms. Neelam Dhawan, has been lauded by leading business journals like Fortune, Forbes and Business Today as one of the Most Powerful Women in Business and has played an integral role in shaping the IT Industry in India.

In her previous positions, Ms. Dhawan has headed both Microsoft and Hewlett Packard, in India, been a member of NASSCOM's Executive Council from 2009 to 2017 and made significant contributions to industry strategy and public policy frameworks.

Ms. Dhawan has also served as VP, Global Industries, Strategic Alliances & Inside Sales APAC & Japan, Hewlett Packard, Singapore during 2017-18. She has also been a member of the Global Supervisory Board of Royal Philips, Netherlands since 2012.

She holds an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi, India.

Stephen Schifrin, Non-Executive Director

Mr. Schifrin is general counsel of Terrapin Partners, LLC, a private firm focused on public and private equity, venture capital, and special purpose acquisition company investing. Mr. Schifrin is also general counsel and chief compliance officer of Terrapin Asset Management, LLC, managing alternative investments for high net worth individuals and institutions, and its affiliated specialty finance lending company, TICO Management Company, LP. Mr. Schifrin served as corporate secretary for Terrapin 3 Acquisition Corporation, a publicly traded SPAC, from its initial public offering in July 2014 through its business combination with Yatra Online, Inc. (NASDAQ:YTRA) in December 2016. He has been an observer on the company’s board since the transaction. Mr. Schifrin has been a director of Legacy Bank of Florida since 2014.

He received his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and interned for the Honorable Diana Saldaña, in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Mr. Schifrin received his B.A. in political science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is a member of the State Bar of California.

Roshan Mendis, Non-Executive Director

Roshan Mendis is chief commercial officer and executive vice president, Travel Solutions at Sabre. Based in London, Mr. Mendis is responsible for overseeing global commercial operations and business development for Sabre's Travel Solutions customer portfolio - encompassing both agency and airline sales.

In his previous role as chief commercial officer for Travel Network, Mr. Mendis built and developed a strong global team that oversaw sales activity for Sabre's global agency customer base.

Prior to this, he also led the successful integration of Abacus, a leading GDS in the Asia-Pacific region, which Sabre acquired in 2015. Under his leadership, Sabre's business in the region significantly expanded through strategic customer wins and renewals.

Prior to his executive position in Travel Network, Mr. Mendis served as president of Travelocity and Zuji, both consumer-facing brands that were part of the Sabre portfolio.

A native of Sri Lanka, Mr. Mendis completed his undergraduate studies at Chaminade University of Honolulu and University of Cambridge (UK). He later earned his MBA at the Rice University in Houston, Texas.

Michael Kaufman, Non-Executive Director

Michael Kaufman is the Chief Executive Officer of MAK Capital, an investment advisory firm based in New York, which he founded in 2002. He is director and Chairman of the Board of Agilysys, Inc., and serves as a director for Skyline Champion Corporation, Trailhead Biosystems and AZP, LLC. Mr. Kaufman holds a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Chicago, where he also received his M.B.A. degree. He also earned a law degree from Yale University. Mr. Kaufman was appointed to the Board pursuant to a Corporation Agreement, dated July 17, 2022.
