Dhruv Shringi, Co-Founder, CEO & Director

Dhruv Shringi is the Co-Founder & CEO Yatra Online Pvt. Ltd. Dhruv leads the company's business initiatives across continents..

Dhruv in a very short span of time, by making innovations in the field of travel and tourism, has made his unique identity in the online travel industry. He has contributed actively in rejuvenating the methods of the industry. Since its successful launch in January 2006, Dhruv, has lead Yatra.com to grow from a 3 member organisation to a 1,400 people strong organisation - thus making Yatra.com the leading travel brand in the country. In 2011, Dhruv was listed by Fortune magazine amongst the top 40 CEO's in India and he also served as the Vice Chairman of the Internet and Mobile Association of India from April' 2011 to June' 2013.

His most recent role prior to Yatra.com was as Director Group Operations and Technology of the Ebookers Group in London, where he led a team of over 600 people and was responsible for sales of $850 million achieved through across channels including online, call centers and retail shops.

Prior to his stint at Ebookers, he worked with Ford Motor Company in their Business Strategy team based in London, where he was part of the European Business Turnaround team. He also has significant work experience in India having spent over 6 years with Arthur Andersen based in their office in Delhi. Dhruv holds an MBA from INSEAD and is also a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Murlidhara Lakshmikantha Kadaba, Non-Executive Director

Murlidhara Lakshmikantha Kadaba. Murlidhara Kadaba (Murli) is the CMD of Moonbeam Capital, a Proprietary VC Firm focused on luxury, UHNI, Real Estate and e-com Ventures. Murli has over 25 years of banking experience, with proven expertise in general management, marketing and product development across consumer banking, wealth management, consumer lending and payment products. Before becoming an entrepreneur, he served as the Group President and CEO of Financial Services in Reliance.

Prior to this, Mr. Kadaba worked for American Express for eight years where he was the country manager for India and area countries. He was responsible for launching Amex's Consumer banking franchise and several credit cards in India. Earlier, Mr. Kadaba was VP and Head of Investment Products at Citibank-India. Mr. Kadaba has served on the boards of Amcham and Financial Planning Standards Board. He is a member of the Advisory Board of Indian Institute of Learning Management (IILM), is an active member of YPO and a charter member of TIE. Amongt others, Mr. Kadaba is currently serving as a Board Member of Big Tree (bookmyshow.com), yatra.com and HomeShop18.

Murli is an alumnus of XLRI, Jamshedpur and is a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering from SJCE, Mysore. Mr. Kadaba is well qualified to serve as a director given the breadth and depth of his experience as well as his capital markets expertise.

Sanjay Arora, Non-Executive Director

Mr. Arora serves as managing director of Terrapin Partners, LLC and a partner with TICO Management Company, LP. Mr. Arora joined the firm in 2007 to focus on the firm’s special purpose acquisition corporation activities. Prior to Terrapin, Mr. Arora was a managing director at Deutsche Bank AG in Hong Kong, where he ran the equity-linked origination team for Asia-Pacific. Prior to this, Mr. Arora held a variety of positions in leveraged finance, derivatives, and equity capital markets at Bankers Trust and Deutsche Bank. During his banking career, Mr. Arora raised over $5 billion of equity and debt for companies in both the US and in Asia.

Mr. Arora received his MBA in finance from the University of Chicago and his BSc in economics from The London School of Economics. Sanjay is married and has a son.

Sean Aggarwal, Non-Executive Director

Sean is a current board member of Lyft, Inc. and the former CFO of Trulia. He is a Silicon Valley leader with strong capital markets experience and strategic acumen in the consumer tech segment.

Sean helped take Trulia public in 2012 and later in 2015 orchestrated its sale to Zillow for 5x the IPO valuation. Prior to Trulia, Sean held finance positions at Paypal, eBay, Amazon, PepsiCo and Merrill Lynch Investment Banking. Sean was also named CFO of the year by Proformative in 2013.

Sean holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Sudhir Kumar Sethi, Non-Executive Director

Sudhir is Founder & Chairman of IDG Ventures India. He specialises in identifying disruptive high growth technology firms with a strong leadership team, and helps them grow rapidly with an eye for outsized financial returns.

Since 1998 Sudhir and his team have advised on investments into 40 firms across Digital Consumer, Enterprise Software and Engineering / Medical Device Sectors. Key investments include Mindtree Consulting (a global IT services play), Myntra (Fashion & Sports e-Commerce), Manthan (a global Analytics product play), Perfint (a global leader in image guided oncology), Aujas (an EIR incubated global information risk services play) Newgen (a global software product leader) and Yatra (a leading on Travel Company).

In 2001, Sudhir was recognized by Red Herring as one of the leading venture capitalists in the country. He has been named among the Top Ten IT Professionals by Dataquest and by Bloomberg UTV as ‘Visionary Venture Capitalist of the year in 2011’. Sudhir was also recently featured in Subroto Bagchi’s recent book ‘’Zen Garden - Conversations with Pathmakers’’, in 2014.

In addition to leading IDG Ventures India Advisors, Sudhir serves on the Board of Ascent Capital (a $350 Million PE Fund) as well as on Asia Advisory Board of EMPEA (Emerging Markets Private Equity Association). He also served on the Executive Committee of Indian Venture Capital Association (IVCA), the Investment Committee of UTI Ventures, the Advisory Board of Westbridge Capital and on the Board of Advisors at N.S. Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurship, IIM Bangalore. With over 30 years' experience Sudhir has served at various leadership positions at HCL, Wipro and Infotech Enterprises as well as Country Head of Walden International, one of the first Venture Investors in India.

Sudhir holds a B.Tech in Engineering and an MBA Degree from FMS, Delhi. His interests include wild life photography.
